A Playground for Making with Technology

The future needs people who can creatively Make.

The Makery encourages youth and adults to be curious, to tinker, to experiment, and to make with technology.  We are a community that gathers to play with the creative power of digital design and fabrication, electronics, physical computing, engineering, art and creative coding.  

Pop Ups & Exhibits

We transform storefronts, art galleries, offices, atriums, and street spaces into playful and inspiring makerspaces with interactive installations and hands-on exhibits for the public to explore.

Workshop CLASSES  

We teach hands-on workshops in 3D printing, digital fabrication, electronics, robotics, physical computing, soft circuits, creative coding, and the craft of making.

Come learn and explore the art and fun in emerging creative technologies.  

Maker Studio 

An informal creative lab experimenting with a variety of technologies, new materials, fabrication equipment, and ways to imagine. 

The inverse of a store.  At Our Pop Ups, Instead of buying what you want... dream it, make it, and take it home.

Projects could include prototyping a robotic pet, designing a motion sensing t-shirt, making an interactive poster or designing a toy on a 3D printer.

We're a collective of makers, creatives, and workshop leaders.
